It seems Melbourne has been spoilt for choice lately with design markets and trade fairs popping up everywhere, showcasing our local talents. Last weekend I visited the ‘Big Daddy’ of Melbourne design events, Design Made Trade.
Design Made Trade was held at my absolute favourite expo venue, The Royal Exhibition buildings, Carlton.
One of the first group stalls to pop out at me. I love these hanging pendants lights and perspex bowls by Lightly.

Yummy letterpress design by The Hungry Workshop
Moody ceramic lighting by The Mod Collective
Hand casted ceramic vessels by The Mod Collective
Notebooks, swing-tags, cards and other eco-friendly printed things by Mingus Designs
Stunning hand-made lampshades and vessels by Thread Architecture
OMG how cool is this bentwood chair by Thread Architecture!
My eyes almost popped out of my head when I saw this beautiful flower arrangement at the Surface by Belinda Christie stand!
