What a fabulous long weekend we’ve had! Delicious home cooked Jewish food for Passover dinner; an early morning Easter egg hunt; brunch at Merricks General Wine Store; a drive to our favourite local winery, Merricks Estate; and we even dropped into Sunny Ridge Strawberry Farm for strawberry ice-cream!

Cherry and Me are totally into nail art at the moment, so I thought it would be fun to take her to get her first professional manicure! Cherry asked the very talented ladies to paint cherries on each nail and I chose pastel ombre Shellac. Of course we took our camera along to share the fun. The Summer Holidays are now officially over and Cherry has started her first week of “Big Girls” Kinder. We’ve loved spending time in our Summer garden, watching our Sunflowers grow, harvesting the poppy seeds and feeding “Milly and Poppy”, the Indian Miner birds that fly into our garden and say hello to us each morning.
We’ve also been busy taking care of our pot plants, decorating them, sewing seeds and watering them in the evenings. CleverPatch sent Cherry and Me a crafty garden package including 4 small terracotta pots, porcelain markers, plant labels, twine and some seeded paper flowers. Here’s what we made…
