This week, Cherry, Tiger and Me spent a day in Melbourne’s City exploring our cultural hub – The National Gallery of Victoria.

First stop, The Island Bird – a crochet suspended walkway by Ernesto Neto
And look who’s walking!
Then we dropped into David Shrigley’s exhibition for a spot of Life Drawing

The Great Hall was alive and pumping with awesome arty worksop
Cherry and Me loved the temporary tattoos by Jean Paul Gaultier!
Then we met Aussie Icon Fashion Designer, Linda Jackson, and helped build an Opal Billabong to reflect the incredible Great Hall stain glass rainbow ceiling

Cherry was in her eliminate with Melbourne Textile Artist, Cat Rabbit, creating Wearable Creatures

And then we revisited Romance Was Born just because we love’d it so much the first time! Click here to see our last visit

And after the NGV we went for a stroll next door to visit Home – 7,000 little houses on one big house
Check out our previous visit to The National Gallery of Victoria here
PS If you’re thinking of visiting the NGV tomorrow, (26th Jan 2015), make sure you drop in to The Great Hall and say hello to Mee Too and Tiny & Little who are hosting Paper Threads – a FREE workshop to create an outfit for your favourite teddy or soft toy!

Our order was waiting for us in our designated shady spot, pack with dry-ice which apparently keeps everything cool until 10pm on delivery day!

My favourite meal was Thai Vegetable Green Curry
