Last week, Cherry and I were invited along to a bloggers’ lunch to launch a very exciting new range of eco-friendly cleaning products, called Method. The event was held in a beautifully renovated victorian home, the perfect backdrop to showcase the fabulous Method products. Cherry and Me. Yes, we’re both wearing leopard print jeans!

Design:Made:Trade + GIVEAWAY!

It seems Melbourne has been spoilt for choice lately with design markets and trade fairs popping up everywhere, showcasing our local talents. Last weekend I visited the ‘Big Daddy’ of Melbourne design events, Design Made Trade.

Design Made Trade was held at my absolute favourite expo venue, The Royal Exhibition buildings, Carlton.

Cooking with truffles + Truffle Workshop GIVEAWAY!

Last week, a friend and I went along to a truffle cooking workshop at à Table. It was decadent, indulgent and so much fun!

Cherry and Me visit the Market + The Market Runners GIVEAWAY

Earl Grey Martinis

There has definitely been a party drought at our place so I thought it was about time to get some friends together. Last weekend, my friend Minks and I gathered a few mutual friends for cocktails and nibbles.

Elle’s lemon & Earl Grey martinis:
– Brew a pot of loose leaf Earl Grey tea and allow tea to cool
– In a cocktail glass, pour 1 shot of vodka, (we like Belvedere)
– Then fill the glass with the cooled down tea
– Finish with slices of fresh lemon

We also made Ribena martinis and served them in Nana Nina’s vintage crystal

Cherry and Me visit the Aquarium + Family Pass GIVEAWAY!

It’s been years since I last visited the Melbourne Aquarium so I thought it would be a fun winter’s day outing with Little Miss Cherry.

Cherry absolutely loved seeing the penguins and now is penguin obsessed! She can’t yet pronounce penguins so she calls them wella-wellas. So cute! We bought her a wella-wella soft toy from the souvenir shop and she insists on taking it everywhere we go!
