A Day of Design + Lightly GIVEAWAY!

The weekend before last, I dropped into Collingwood to explore 3 incredibly inspiring design installations: Lightly, The Cool House and People’s Market, all within walking distance from one another.

First stop was Lightly who opened their studio doors for CROP, a curated event showcasing 26 Australian designers and artists. Read on for a fabulous Lightly GIVEAWAY!1_Lightly

and now for the GIVEAWAY…Lightly_Giveaway

This week, one lucky Cherry and Me fan will WIN one of these new lightly Paddle Chopping Boards! To enter the draw, simply LIKE Cherry and Me on Facebook and then share this link on your Facebook wall.

Entries close midnight 22/12/12. The winner will be selected at random and notified via email. Tomatoes not included!

Next, I dropped into The Cool House, a pop-up boutique series run by the very trendy design blog The Cool Hunter, who transformed a empty warehouse into an interactive and innovative retail space. Very cool.1_Cool_House

And last, but not least, I stopped by People’s Market. The perfect place to refresh on a barmy Summer’s afternoon, spoilt for choice with the coolest food trucks, pop-up booze stalls, more design shopping, live music, art installations and plenty of people gazing. Ah, I love Melbourne! 1_PeoplesMarket 2_PeoplesMarket 3_PeoplesMarket 4_PeoplesMarket 5_PeoplesMarket
