Finders Keepers

Last Saturday, my friend and fellow blogger, Lauren and I explored The Finders Keepers Market held at the Royal Melbourne Exhibition Buildings, Carlton. Can you believe I left my trusty camera at home on the kitchen bench! I was kicking myself but luckily my iPhone has a terrific camera so I worked with the situation to bring you some of the best things we saw.

I love collecting vintage floral miss-matched plates. My collection started when I moved out of home and ‘borrowed’ my mothers dishes 😉  Aren’t these illustrated saucers just divine! I bought one that says “every bunny needs some bunny”.

So very sweet!

Love these illustrations

I thought the set up of this stall was just so cute!

Old school suitcases and leather handbags with built-in retro stereos. Just plug in your iphone! Brilliant!

Letterpress greeting cards, coloured twine and beautifully printed wrapping paper.

Great inspiration!

Do you think Cherry needs another vintage fabric dress?

Cute but a little scary!

Paint your own Babushka Doll

One of the best stalls we spotted were these hand casted porcelain vessels. They were grouped by colour and looked absolutely stunning! Lauren bought a couple and this is what she did with them when she got home:
