We’re still riding the high from Cherry’s 4th Birthday Rainbow Party and part of the reason was we enjoyed organising all those crafty and creative activities in the lead up to her big day. A few days before the party, my sister, aka “Aunty Nise” from Aunty Nise Crafts, came over to help create a colourful giant rainbow streamer garland to decorate the park rotunda. CleverPatch, our favourite craft suppliers, sent us a box of goodies to get the party started. This is what we made…
We used about 30 rolls of assorted crape paper streamers and 20 metres of thick twine
We started by cutting the streamers into 1 meter strips
Then we looped each strip over the twine in rainbow colour order
We tied the twine tautly between two chairs
Eventually our garland became so long, we had to tie it up from the study to our hallway!
All bundled up and ready to pimp up the park rotunda
A huge THANK YOU to CleverPatch for supplying the materials for our Rainbow Garland!
Aww what a fabulous crafty activity! It looks great 🙂
