I’ve had the week off from cooking and the pleasure of reviewing incredibly delicious frozen meals from the latest online food store, dish’d. Their restaurant quality frozen meals are designed by international chefs and prepared with only the best ingredients.
Take a look at their online store here: www.dishd.com.au
I was really surprised how super fast delivery was!
Our order was waiting for us in our designated shady spot, pack with dry-ice which apparently keeps everything cool until 10pm on delivery day!
We loved opening the freezer door each night and choosing what’s for dinner!
Night one, I had: Hake with grilled zucchini, cherry tomatoes and pesto sauce
He had: Squid with capsicum, zucchini and eggplant in a semi-dried cherry tomato sauce
Really simple heating instructions, just open the box and microwave the papillote for 6 minutes. Best part is, no pots and pans to clean up!
From our freezer to the dinner table in minutes. My kitchen has never looked so clean!
The next night we shared Prawn and Crab Mezzelune
My favourite meal was Thai Vegetable Green Curry
Cod with julienne carrots, fennel and almonds in a citrus sauce
These dark chocolate and hazelnut Zabaglione ice-creams were amazing! Next time I’ll be ordering more deserts!

After a year of cooking non-stop, I’d love to have our dinner dish’d up, without me lifting a finger! One of my favourite Thai meals, I’d love to try the Thai Green Chicken Curry, followed by the Dark chocolate and hazelnut Zabaglione ice-cream. Of course, I’d be happy to run it all off the next day!!
Wow for frozen meals I am impressed 🙂 I would love to try out the Potato Dauphinous for entree, followed by the giant squid skewers, porcini mushroom taglierini and the strawberry swirl gelato looks divine, there is so much to choose that I would love to make mine. 🙂
Oh my, Marinated Scallops sound amazing.
Im so impressed and had not heard of this service before.
Two of my eldest daughters are living away from home and I know they miss my cooking. This service would certainly be a true treat for them and Im sure they would delight in it. I would love to gift this to them as they are in the delivery area and sadly im not. Would certainly be a gift I know they would love.
So in answer to the question as a good Mum I would spend it on meals to look after my daughters. At least I would be sure they were eating well 🙂
I’m on desserts for Christmas Day so I’d choose the chocolate fondant, strawberry cheesecake and lemon tarts. I’d make up a tasting plate and claim that I’d made them all from scratch
I’d use my dish’d voucher to order the International Tapas Bundle. What a delicious array to treat guests during the Christmas break, when there’s always an impromptu get-together to cater for!
This is so great! Honestly because how often do you find cool things like this and they’re not available in Australia. I mean finally! Wow I’d definitely go Spinach & Ricotta cannelloni and vegetable lasange! Yum! Oh oh and Hazelnut crepes! What a great meal!
Tegan xx – Permanent Procrastination
What a great service and review, This would be totally spoiling us so I would have to go “desserts’ and have a bit of luxury (treat for me) over the Christmas and new year.
It would be a treat to not have to think about dinner, shopping and cooking for a few nights!
I love the Tartufo Nero! I no longer have to seek out Italian joints for my these balls of gelato no more. I can have them in the comfort of my own home..and delivered straight to my door!
I’d love to try the 12 Giant Squid Skewers and indulge in the delicious Bakes Lemon Tart and Chocolate Prague Cake! Oh YUMMY!!
Dishd has lots of great food that I would like to try. This Christmas Roast Dinner and 2 Rasberry Sorbet Slices would be just good for my Christmas Eve meal.
Definately the 59 Piece Summer Entertaining Party pack – what a great and easy way to kick off Christmas Dinner! Love the idea that there is little to no preparation time, meaning I can enjoy more time with my guests and kids
MOZZARELLA AND PESTO PIZZA
The pesto and mozerella pizza looks utterly divine and I’d love to give it a go.
I’d get a range of pizza’s and pasta’s and make an Italian themed night. I’d dress up as a waiter or chef and serve the food to my kids, then we would discuss some fun things and landmarks of Italy. So they’d be learning too!
It’s New Years Eve at my place this year!… It’s a SUMMERTIME ENTERTAINING pack – or three – for me!
I’d order anything that looks delicious,
with hearty ingredients that are nutritious,
and most importantly requires absolutely NO DISHES.
These are my dish’d menu wishes!
I’d grab a range of vegetarian options because I’m always looking for healthy meat-free options for the family.
Those vegetable and mushroom cones look delicious, and much healthier than what I usually enjoy in a cone… to make up for that, I’d add on the Chocolate Prague cake for dessert. 😉 Yum!
Thanks for the chance and the information, this looks like a great service and those dark chocolate and hazelnut Zabaglione icecreams look amazing!
