It’s been years since I last visited the Melbourne Aquarium so I thought it would be a fun winter’s day outing with Little Miss Cherry.
Cherry absolutely loved seeing the penguins and now is penguin obsessed! She can’t yet pronounce penguins so she calls them wella-wellas. So cute! We bought her a wella-wella soft toy from the souvenir shop and she insists on taking it everywhere we go!
Underwater swimming wella-wellas
My favouite display. Some tanks were neon lit so the jellyfish looked phosphorescent! How cool would this look in our house!

There’s no aquarium where I live, so what a treat when I next visit Melbourne! 🙂
The last time we went to the Aquarium we had just gotten off the ferry from Tasmania and it was an absolute disaster our then 3 yo son screamed like a mad man the entire time because he wanted to go home and see the dog! I’d really love to win and see if now that he’s 7 he might behave better!!!
Have shared your giveaway on facebook.
We love going to the Aquarium, but it costs an arm and a leg to get in.
I love the Melbourne Aquarium is is such a feast of wonderful animals of so many different colours and shapes that amaze young and old alike
My kids are penguin obsessed and I’d love to take them for educational reasons too (cost is an issue though!). The photos are great and miss Cherry very cute – I bet Wella Wella becomes part of the permanent family vocab for you all~
I want to show my daughter the real Nemo that lives at the aquarium in a tank.
I’m always looking for things to keep Miss 2 and Miss 4 occupied, they are at an age where they would just love to see all the creatures at the aquarium, I can just image their faces lighting up at every turn!!
