If there’s one thing that’s improved quality of life, mummy life that is, it’s my Dyson Vacuum stick. I’m obsessed! I use it every day, sometimes 3 times a day. In fact, it’s become imbedded into our daily routine so naturally, Cherry and Tiger reach for their toy vacuums after breaky and start cleaning as they anticipate I will too!
This week I’m road testing the latest model – Dyson V6 Absolute, to replace our previous model – Dyson Digital Slim™ DC59, which we also reviewed on the blog two years ago.
Our new and old Dyson sticks, side by side. The most obvious difference is the colour, Cherry’s favourite, red. Love it.
The first time I used the V6 Absolute, I immediately noticed it was lighter and quieter. Both major improvements. Tick, tick!
I was most impressed with this new head attachment. It’s the perfect tool for sucking up those pesky Ricebubbles off our floorboards.

Super quick clean up, just what we need in the busy morning rush!
The V6 Absolute comes with several attachments, all serving different purposes. I like to switch to the carpet attachment when removing the kitty cat fluff of our couch.
Cherry loved the packaging and insisted on decorate it!
It’s super easy to empty the clear bin; just press a button and the door flips open. I like to do this over our outdoor bin about twice a week.
Our broom stick, dustpan and old vacuum have been replaced with the brilliant Dyson V6 Absolute. Thank you Dyson and Kids Business for this product review opportunity!
