Melbourne home – Patchy Rugs

This week I’d like to take you on a tour of a very stylish and cool Melbourne home of Lauren and her husband from Patchy Rugs. I dropped into Lauren’s place last week for a cup of tea and took a few snaps for the blog while I was there.

What a great idea for bedside lamps! Vertical garden by Joost from The Design Files Open House.

I love that fabulous 1970’s leather lounge from Lauren’s husband’s grandparents! The patchwork armchair, glass balls and little woven artwork above the lounge, all from the David Bromley Collection. Artwork above the glossy black fireplace by Zhong Chen and black and white bottle print by Chris Band (far left).

Bird painting by Jodie Wells (above), Kat McLeod print (left) and Eleanor Voterakis print (right)

Deep sea-green patchwork rug from Patchy Rugs and antique Chinese bathhouse locker from Fenton & Fenton

Fluro sculptures by Emma Davies. Lauren and her hubby recently purchased the laughing man painting from their trip to China.

Beautiful original Edwardian ceiling features and polished wooden floors. Artwork by Dane Lovett (left)

Vintage French drugstore glass jar on the slick Poliform dining table

What an amazing green hedge wall! Love those cool bar stools by Yellow Diva

Overdyed rug from Patchy Rugs and painting by Anthony Lister

I’m crazy for that pink overdyed Patchy Rug!
